I wonder why everyone, you included, seems to loose sight of the real spirit of the modern Olympiads: The important thing is to compete, not to win... Just strive too go higher, longer and faster... everything else will come into focus.
I dislike it intensely to see people brickering about a bunch of pieces of metal... gold or whatever.
Look at the Paralympic Games which will be held right after the Olympiad and using the same venues.... hundreds, if not thousands, of handicapped girls, women, boys and men will be taking part with no other purpose than having fun and a good time... For them, medals are inconsequential. What counts is friendship, sportsmanship and all those little things the rest of us seem to think are not as important as winning a gold medal.
You want to correct me on this? Go ahead. You will never win this one, dude.:haha:
Anybody here watching Olympic 2008 which currently held in Beijing. I'm sure United state will collect a lot of gold huh.. for me from Malaysia just only left one hope now after our badmintons star go to final today. Hope that will be one gold for us. I pray for that..:haha:
